Core Values
The Zone
The signature component of the SA model is the Zone, dedicated school-based learning centers designed and resourced to support and encourage students to set academic and athletic goals, gain needed support to help them stay on track, and provide them with access and opportunities to explore post-secondary options. The Zones are staffed, managed and funded by Scholar Athletes, and are available for use during the day and after-school by all students, athletes and non-athletes alike, in grades 9-12. Services provided in the Zone are free of charge to the students.
